Arthur Pollock is the Director of Pollock Japan Research Ltd. Arthur has 35+ years multi asset Research, Investment and Sales experience in the Japanese Financial markets. He has very long Sales and Investment Management experience in all Japanese Equity Sectors and fully understands the Portfolio Manager/Analyst role covering Japanese Equities in various Global/EAFE/Asia Equity teams. 

He has veteran experience with Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Private Wealth Managers, Global Asset Allocators and Consultants and so also understands the Portfolio Manager’s Japanese Equity responsibilities to his end Clients. Arthur has worked for Wako Securities Ltd., Robert Fleming Ltd., BZW Ltd., Schroder Securities Ltd.,Morgan Stanley Investment Management Ltd. and State Street Research and Management Inc. in various Japanese Sales, Research, and Investment Management positions since 1983.

He recently spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in London where he was a Senior Fund Manager and Analyst researching Japanese Equities, in all sectors, as part of a team in various International and Global Equity Programs. Arthur was Head of the Japan Equity Strategy at Morgan Stanley Investment Management from 2009 until he left Morgan Stanley in 2014.
